Dear Friend,
Between the first and last breath chanting “Nam Myoho Renge
Kyo” we hear the Wonderful Law and perceive the entity of true happiness in
each moment.
Nichiren Daishonin writes: “The two principles of birth and
death are
principles that pertain to the dream realm of birth and death, delusions,
examples of topsy-turvy thinking. When we employ the waking state of original
enlightenment to
gain a correct understanding of the nature of our minds, we see that it has no
birth that can be called a beginning, so it could never have a death that would
be an ending. Is this not what it means to grasp the mind that is removed from birth and
death?” [The Unanimous Declaration by the Buddhas of the Three Existences
regarding the Classification of the Teachings and Which Are to Be Abandoned and
Which Upheld] WND II: 315 (p.843) http://www.nichirenlibrary.org
Faith is the substance of Buddha nature chanting “Nam Myoho
Renge Kyo” in each moment of existing nine worlds.
Truly yours,
