Dear Friend,
Seeing our own mind chanting “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo”,
we freely observe the phenomena of daily life without distortions of
erroneous views.
Nichiren Daishonin writes: “The word “wonderful”
in the Lotus Sutra of the
Wonderful Law has two meanings. One is
comparative myō, or wonderful, which indicates refuting the rough
teachings and revealing the wonderful teaching. The other is absolute
myō, which indicates opening up the rough teachings and merging them in
the wonderful teaching.” [Jissō-ji Temple] WND II: 286 (p.727) http://www.nichirenlibrary.org
Seeing Buddha nature chanting “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo” we find daily life is the wonderful teaching.
Truly yours,
