Past experiences open as true self in the present chanting “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo” while the content of our life reveals Buddha nature has always been within us.
Nichiren Daishonin writes: “Regarding the
words “Myoho-renge-kyo,” The Profound Meaning of the Lotus Sutra by T’ien-t’ai says of the word myō: “The character myō, or wonderful, is defined as being beyond ordinary comprehension.” It also says, “To reveal the depths of the secret storehouse—this is called myō, or wonderful.” And it also says, “Myō means the finest of the sutras.
