Nichiren Daishonin writes: “Or,
according to Treatise on the Lotus Sutra, the land surrounding one is the lotus. That is, the bodhisattvas, by practicing the Law of the lotus, are as a result able to obtain the land of the lotus. Our bodhisattva vows chanting “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo” are the single-minded vehicle revealing Buddha nature in heart and mind each moment.
