While observing our own mind chanting “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo,” we call upon our Buddha nature within directly opening happiness in our present form.
Nichiren Daishonin instructs us: “Never
seek this Gohonzon outside yourself. The Gohonzon exists only within the mortal flesh of us ordinary people who embrace the Lotus Sutra and chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo. In the substance of body and mind each moment chanting “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo” our consistency of Buddha nature in thoughts, words and actions reveals true happiness.
